Securities Lawyer (Luxembourg)

As in-house legal counsel, you will be providing legal advice on securities and capital markets issues as well as more general legal advice. Besides you will also negotiate, draft and review contracts, coordinate the legal tasks in relation with internal projects, follow the legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Company’s field of activity and analyse its potential impact on the Company’s business.

Legal & Compliance Officer

You will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to the relevant business partners and oversee that the bank complies with local law and regulations as well as with internal directives and standards.
You will also work closely with all other players in UBS Belgium giving technical support to the different areas. You will participate in the creation and review of all necessary internal directives and other necessary documentation as well as of the necessary procedures to implement your advice and/or directives. Additionally you will report on trends and developments within your area of expertise.
You will be asked to have a pro-active involvement in trouble-shouting situations and manage litigation activities to optimum conclusion to the bank.
