The College of Europe is currently seeking LEGAL EXPERTS with the following profile for the setting-up of a reserve list (pool of experts) for its future activities (mainly SHORT TERM ASSIGNMENTS in your country of residence).
Qualifications and skills / The ideal candidate should have:
- University DEGREE IN LAW
- Relevant post-university legal working experience in national law of the EU Member States and European Law, in particular internal market law and its application in practice
- Very good familiarity with legal analysis and EU legislation
- Good analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way and to meet strict deadlines
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Good interpersonal skills
The candidate must be a native speaker and/or have a Law Degree obtained in one of the EU-27 MEMBER STATES and EEA countries (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). and will have a proficiency in English/French, other European languages an asset.
Availability:
Candidates should indicate their availability (part time or full-time?) to perform as series of short term assignments on a free-lance basis, for a period covering (at least) 2011-2012
